Fall is in the Air

We've had a wonderful week learning about
the changes of Fall.

We went on a nature walk around the school to look at the changes of fall.

We saw leaves that were beginning to change colors and some that had already fallen to the ground.

We created leaf rubbings with the leaves we found on our nature walk.

We counted with Cheerios and then used them to make corn cobs.

We welcomed a new student to our classroom on Monday!  Welcome to CES, Mimi!

We read a book about a lonely scarecrow and then students had fun creating their own scarecrows with the shapes we have learned about.

We counted out Cheerios using ten frames and then played "Spin and Write" with a partner.

We celebrated Holly Whitlock's birthday on Friday.  Happy Birthday, Holly!
