Peek at the Week

We've had another wonderful week in Kindergarten!

We had one rainy day so we got to enjoy our very first indoor recess!

Lucky our class bunny rabbit got to try on her halter and went hippity hoppity down the hallway.

Students became letter detectives as they searched for letters Aa-Hh in the newspaper.

Thanks to those families who came out to Back to School Night on Tuesday!

This was our 2nd week of Literacy Table Tubs.  We have worked really hard to learn various activities, how to clean up correctly, and how to rotate around the tables.  We will get to begin workstations around our classroom next week!

We worked on using our special reading pointers to point to words when reading our I See Shapes books.  We also enjoyed looking through the big tub of books together on the rug.

We became KinderChefs and prepared our own shape pizzas by using red circle pepperoni, green oval olives, yellow triangle cheese slices, and brown rectangle sausage chunks.  We then counted our pizza toppings and recorded how many shape toppings we used.  Our pizzas almost looked good enough to eat....!

Ms. Kari Kovick  visited with us again this week for a music lesson.  She taught us several different songs and gave us our own chime to use in our classroom.  Thank you,  Ms. Kari!
